Brendan joined Slate in 2021. Brendan is responsible for sourcing investments for Slate in the Midwest, Mountain West, Southwest, and West Coast regions of the United States.
Prior to joining Slate, Brendan lead commercial real estate originations across the Midwest for Annaly Capital Management. Brendan previously served on the acquisitions and originations team for Pacific Coast Capital Partners (PCCP) with primary coverage of Northern California, Seattle, and Minneapolis. Prior to joining PCCP in 2015, Brendan worked for The Durst Organization on One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) managing the public/private joint venture with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Brendan began his career at Hunter Robert’s Construction Group where he led the Cost Department for New York that assessed the financial risk of active projects.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University.
