Steve is a Managing Director of Slate Asset Management and the Chief Executive Officer of Slate Office REIT, responsible for the REIT’s overall strategy and performance.

Steve has held progressively senior roles since joining Slate in 2014, most recently serving as the REIT’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he strengthened and advanced the asset management and business development of the REIT including oversight of operations, leasing and capital investment programs and executing on financing, acquisition and disposition activity.

Prior to Slate, Steve worked with Oxford Properties Group, the real estate arm of OMERS.

He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration, both from Queen’s University.
